We learn every day because our curiosity drives us. Now, we're overwhelmed with too much information, unsure where to start, or believing that AI is the solution to everything. This isn’t the way learning or communicating ideas works. eAHnna experience collective was created to give organizations, movements, and creators a safe space to grow ideas and turn them into real actions in real life.
“Safe” doesn’t mean simple or easy. It means having a space where ideas feel a little less scary because someone’s there to help. Most clients have an idea of a course or program they want to create or improve. As we work together, we sometimes find other issues, like communication gaps or operational snags. The goal is to uncover and solve those roadblocks so every project can succeed by guiding you, turning your ideas into reality, and making sure you’re ready to grow and thrive.
eAHnna's focus is on what’s right, even if it’s harder. No project is too big or small.
I am Tara Stratton (Fisher), CPTD® (Certified Professional in Talent Development) and as with most learning consultants, my path to this work was very winding. My education includes a combination of sociology, anthropology, perinatal healthcare, and communication strategy disciplines. I started my design career while still finishing college and have navigated the evolution of communication technology ever since. Strategizing on how and why to communicate has become essential to my work in order to cut through all the noise.
My organizational development skills come directly from on-the-ground experience, as a worker in industries like food service, pharmaceuticals, retail, manufacturing, advertising, corporate law, etc. As a learning consultant, I have been able to work with amazing teams and great minds at places like Boston Consulting Group, McDonald's, Marriott International, McKinsey & Company, 3M, Volvo, W.K. Kellogg Foundation, and Google just to name a few. Because of all of that wide variety of experience and perspectives in my working life, I take the responsibility to reduce harm in the workplace and our broader community very seriously.
My consulting approach is kind and solution-focused, but challenging to ideas of "normalcy". Finding systemic inefficiencies, outdated models, and structural inequities that directly affect the human experience is my super-power. I guide clients, as a sort of "learning experience doula", to find tools and processes empowering them to meet their goals of the program or messaging.
I was able to speak with Noah Mishkin of Cackle Media about my journey as a birth and postpartum doula into adult education and HR, with a focus on learning and development. I share some of my experience the impact trauma can have on personal and professional growth, and offer insights into creating effective, non-harmful training programs.
Being a parent influences every decision I make in my professional and personal life. It is the most important and rewarding job I have ever had.
Back in the aughts, I was the lead singer in a band. I was managing complex projects, events, and experiences long before I did it in my day job regularly.
For almost 10 years, I worked as an independent doula, childbirth educator and birth assistant. My values come directly from the experience of helping others when they are most vulnerable.
